Hello! This is my 23rd year teaching in Donna ISD... I feel blessed and very excited to begin a new year here at J.P. Lenoir, the best campus in Donna ISD! I will do my best to help ALL students reach their fullest potential this school year! My hope is that my students develop the skills necessary to succeed inside and outside the classroom. I value dedication and kindness in everyone I work with (both students, teachers, and staff). My role as a 5th grade teacher is to prepare students for middle school and beyond!
Mrs. Irisema Lopez
Hello! My name is Mrs. Lopez, and I am a 5th grade Reading teacher. This Is my 24th year teaching. I’m very excited to continue the journey with our wonderful staff, students, and parents at JP LeNoir. I love to teach reading because it helps us learn more about the world and expand our imagination. I believe everyone can learn new things every day, and reading is fundamental in this. Teaching 5th grade allows me to help my students get ready academically, socially, and emotionally for middle school and help them make that transition as smooth as possible. I’m looking forward to this amazing year!
Mrs. Elisa Martinez
Hello! My name is Mrs. Elisa Martinez, I will be teaching 5th grade Science this school year. This is my 18th year with Donna ISD, I was a teacher assistant for 14 years and this will be my 4th year teaching. I hope to create a positive atmosphere to motivate our 5th graders to try their best in their last year of elementary. I hope to encourage all students to reach their potential and to help them progress in their academic, social, and emotional skills to be ready for middle school. I am excited for this journey!
