To help keep our campus safe, clean, and focused on learning, we kindly ask that students leave squishies and similar toys at home.
Recently, squishies have become a distraction during instructional time and lunch. They have also created additional messes when washed in the restrooms or when they accidentally pop or leak.
We appreciate our families helping us by reminding students that squishies are not permitted at school. Keeping these items at home allows our students to focus on learning while helping us maintain a clean and welcoming campus for everyone.

We are excited to welcome our students and families to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair! (August 31 - September 4) There will be lots of great books and fun items for students to choose from.
Book Fair Hours
7:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Please Note:
The Book Fair will be CLOSED for lunch from 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Scholastic eWallet Available!
Parents can make shopping easier by setting up an eWallet for their child. eWallet allows families to add funds online so students can shop at the Book Fair without needing to bring cash to school.

Huge shout-out and THANK YOU to Mrs. E. Martinez! We’re excited to celebrate Mrs. Martinez for entering a giveaway through Reading Is Fundamental (RIF)—an amazing organization dedicated to bringing STEM and literacy into the classroom. Thanks to her participation, she won 100 brand-new books from RIF and Barnes & Noble! These books will help spark curiosity, build literacy skills, and inspire a love of reading among our students. We’re incredibly grateful to Reading Is Fundamental and Barnes & Noble for supporting educators and empowering classrooms through the joy of books.

Celebrating Excellence at Our School! Six teachers from J. P. LeNoir Elementary attended the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) recognition event, where they revealed if they earned the Recognized, Exemplary, or Master designation. The event, themed after Wicked, made the moment even more exciting as teachers scratched off cards to discover their category. We are incredibly proud of our dedicated educators who continue making a difference for our students every day!
